• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Yep, going to give the BoP a similar treatment to my Connie. The nacelles are just a placeholder and will be changing.

New nacelles and a view of the impulse deck.

I like it. It helps make the design distinct from Federation and Klingon designs, which was difficult for the original modelers to do with such a limited budget.

Nice work, an improvement compared to the first nacelle design.

Thanks all. Honestly, I've hit a bit of a roadblock on this one - it's such a simple design that there's not much to play with. Or maybe I'm just procrastinating because I hate uv mapping ;)

An improvement compared to the first nacelle design.
The first nacelle was a low poly A2 TMP era nacelle I was using as a placeholder.
Basic hull mapping done. Just wish I'd built the hull around the birdie instead of now trying to figure out how to make the bird fit the hull

Looking good, if I may make a suggestion, try to reduce the size of the bird, it looks a bit to large on the ship.

Yes, I'm still playing with sizes - I was trying to determine the right overlay settings.
However, I think that I'm going to have to draw my own, the wings just stretch too far forward o_O

Anywho, more pretties from Jetfreak. I don't think I need say anything more than that.

Birdie has been remodeled plus a few other texture changes I've been experimenting with.
Slower progress than I'd have liked, I had to remember how to change the photoshop preferences again.

Falling in love with that BOP mate. Looks like a Phase 2, X-tech version of the TOS BOP. :D

It is indeed a lovely ship.
:y

The way the pylons are shaped and angle down a pit makes it look like one of the engineers on the project may have been Klingon.

I've not posted anything in here since July :y
Whilst I have been busy with various projects, this does need to be rectified.
So here's some more orthos.

EDIT - I keep forgetting this site doesnt like big png files. The png will be on my DA page.
