Best Jedi or Sith

As Episodes 1 through 3 and many other star wars sources out thier have introduced us to many new Jedi and Sith characters Im interested to know anyones favourite characters and who you think is the best.

Jedi:
My favourite Jedi has to go to Luke as I grew up watching the first three movies but I did also like Qui Gon Jinn(think thats how you spell it)shame the killed him off in the first movie.

Sith:
I liked the Darth Maul character,double ended light sabre looked lethal, same again pity they didnt keep him on.

For the Jedi, young Obi-Wan did it for me. As for the Sith, Darth Vader, can't beat the classics.

Jedi: I would have to say Yoda. Noone can beat Yoda in a fight to the death.

Sith: I liked Darth Maul but Darth Vader before and after the black suit is truely awesome.

Fave Sith: Darth Vader (only liked Ankain from ep 3 onwards lol.)

Favorite Jedi: Episode II-III Obi-Wan Kenobi because he had some of the funniest lines in the movies after C-3PO's "DIE JEDI DOGS!!"

Favorite Sith: Darth Nihilus from KOTOR II : The Sith Lords. Four thousand years before Vader , there was another Sith sporting a mask and black robes. Only bad thing about it is that you can't equip his mask after you kill him. That burns my butt because I was a Sith Lord too and I wanted an awesome mask!

Fav Jedi: Jaina Solo, she's completely awesome in a starfighter and if you really want to duel her in Lightsaber combat you better bring some buddies because only two people can beat her, her Uncle (Luke) and her brother (Jacen)...

Fav Sith: Not sure if she ever qualified as a Sith but... Mara Jade, you can't get much cooler than being the Emporer's personal assassin, even if you do fail to kill Luke Skywalker.

He did fight Yoda. But they both survived. If Palpatine did not have so much back up (as in the empirial troops) then Yoda would have beaten him badly. But Yoda had to look to the future. Plus, they could not have Yoda win that fight because then it would ruin the original 3 Star Wars movies. LOL

I so want to say Jaina and Mara, cos I love how theyre portrayed in the books.

however, i think it has to be Revan. as both Jedi and Sith. I mean, come on, according to canon sources, he was at one time thought (if incorrectly) the Chosen One he was so powerful. You cant go far wrong there lol

Ah from KOTOR. I still think they should make a movie or series about those events.

that'd be sweet. A movie about the mandalorian war would be ace. you could see Revan completely obliterate the Mandalore. oh, and Fett's great great whatever grandfather, Cassius Fett

Best Jedi: Hard to choose. Yoda, Windu, Obi-Wan (the only people woh can beat Darth Vader without using the Dark Side) and Annie of course. Luke is also strong but he don't have that beautiful stile of lightsaber fencing and can't use the Force so well like the others.

Best Sith: Not a question! Darth Vader, the Choosen One who will "bring balance in the Force"

Jedi - It depends. In fight, it's Windu. In diplomacy it's Kenobi, in using the Force is Yoda, in adaptation it's Fisto.

Sith - no question: Sidious, the ultimate mastermind.
